If you do business overseas, you can make it really easy for your overseas customers to contact you.

Just choose a Planet Telecom International Toll Free Number (ITF), (usually prefixed 1800 or 0800), and your customers can call you completely free – just like with a UK 0800 freefone number.

Your call is automatically diverted to any UK number you like and you simply pay a per-minute charge to receive the calls; plus a small initial setup fee and a low monthly service charge.

Or choose an International Virtual Phone Number

If you’d prefer not to offer a freephone number for your overseas customers, you can choose an International Virtual Phone Number instead.

As the name suggests, with a Virtual Phone Number your customers dial a local phone number, such as a Paris, Sydney, or Los Angeles number, but the call automatically goes to a UK number of your choice.

International Virtual Phone Telecom are a superb way to create a highly convincing local presence in the international cities of your choice. And there are more cities coming online all the time.

Your customer pays the normal local cost for the call and you pay a small per minute cost for the redirection to your UK line. As with international Toll-Free Numbers you pay an initial set up fee plus a small monthly service charge.

No extra lines or equipment to buy

Rest assured that when you buy a Planet Telecom international Toll Free or Virtual Phone number, there is absolutely no requirement for extra phone lines or any equipment whatsoever.

We simply divert the incoming calls to an existing number of your choice. Your phone will continue to receive calls on its original number as usual as well as the incoming international calls, and can be used to make outgoing phone calls as normal.

Add Virtual Switchboard functions to give your international callers even better service

As with our UK numbers, you can add virtual switchboard services to your international number to give international customers a friendly and professional welcome when they call you.

If you handle a high volume of international calls, for example, and you can’t always answer immediately you might add Call Queuing.

For maximum convenience and so you never miss an important call, you can route your incoming calls to different UK destinations depending on the time of day or day of week. Remember, your callers may be in a totally different time zone!
