Transfer your numbers fast and free
If you have a non-geographic number (‘NGN’), Ofcom’s Number Portability Agreement allows you to transfer it to another provider to get a better deal or better service (just like switching your gas or electricity supplier). Your numbers stay exactly the same but you pay Planet Telecom’s super-low costs and get access to all our automated call-handling and virtual switchboard services.
What numbers can I transfer?
- 01 and 02 numbers
- 0300, 0330, 0333, 0344, 0345 and 0370
- 0808 and 0800 freephone
- 0843, 0844 and 0845
- 0870, 0871 and 0872
Which suppliers can I switch from

No disruption to your service
While we’re transferring your numbers rest assured there’s absolutely no disruption to your service. Your lines will operate completely as normal. You will be able to manage your numbers via your Planet Telecom online dashboard within 30 days of requesting the switch.
You can ‘port’ your 01s and 02s too
Want to save call costs on your regular 01 and 02 lines? You can switch these to Planet Telecom too. The process is exactly the same as for NGNs (non-geographic numbers) outlined above.
