Is your pay as you go gathering dust?

Have you got a pay as you go (PAYG)  phone lying about gathering dust?

Did you know that if you don’t use your PAYG phone once every 6 months then you run the risk of having it cut off. If the PAYG number hasn’t been used in 6 months then the mobile provider has the right to cut the service and recycle the number. Mobile operators can do this to make sure that their numbers are being used efficiently. PAYG users can stop this happening by topping up at least once every 6 months or sending a few text’s or making some calls every now and then.

There are lots of people who keep PAYG phones for emergency’s like either in their car or at home and unless there is an emergency then the numbers remain unused. If PAYG phone are going to be used as emergency phones then for consumers they are the better option as you pay for what you use not a set amount every month even if you don’t use it.

To keep your PAYG phone alive, make sure to keep using it, at least once every 6 months.
